I was born in La Crosse, WI and my parents have lived in various parts of Wisconsin my whole life, and they now reside in Sturtevant, WI, so coming here is like coming home. My dad is a WELS teacher and my mom is a public school secretary. I am the youngest of siblings. My sister works in Milwaukee, WI at Froedert as a nurse and my brother also lives in Milwaukee as a Industrial Radioagrapher.
My wife, Katelynn, and I are high school sweet hearts and attending Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School. We both attended MLC and were married in 2014 and currently have 1 child and her name is Isabel and goes by Izzi born on Dec. 21.
I graduated from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Education and Physical Education. My wife got the Science position at Nebraska Lutheran High School and I did not have a teaching job until 2018 school year. Before then, I worked as a Paraprofessional, and for 3 years worked home remodeling construction. NELHS called me the summer of 2018 to teach Physical Education, Strength Training and Activities Director. I was an assistant football coach and boys varsity coach for 4 years.
I was a three sport athlete in High School and played football and baseball at MLC. In my spare time, I like to spend time with family, watching my daughter learn and grow everyday. Whenever we can, we get together with both sides of the family to check out a new restaurant, hunting, fishing, and especially watching sports. I am a Wisconsin sports fan through and through. Now that I work a block from my earthly heaven, I will take any Packer tickets that are available.
